Sometimes you just need to sit alone outside and have a sit down with Jesus. I was able to rest outside this morning and came across a song I wrote months ago. I recorded it again and jotted it down here, because I don’t want to lose these songs and the joy it gives me to praise Him in my little corner. It’s titled Oh Grace! My Comforter!, and the song link is in the title. Getting to join the songbirds outside on a beautiful morning is just a little example of grace itself! I hope God places a song on your heart today too.
My soul cries out to You (3x)
Oh— grace
He will pick me up and hold my hand
He will lift me when I cannot stand
From fear, He’s always near
He will hear my deepest longing cry
He will speak the words of peace
When I’m too tired, too tired to try
The Lord has been a comfort to me
Jesus has been a comfort to me
My God You’ve been a comfort to me
He will let me rest in His embrace
He will wrap me in the warmth of
His strong arms, to keep me strong
He will lead me to a quiet place
He will fill me in the stillness
As I wait, to feel His strength
The Lord has been a comfort to me
Jesus has been a comfort to me
My God You’ve been a comfort to me
I am filled with thanks
Filled with gratitude and praise
Grace, all about grace
A story untold
With blessings to unfold
Grace, all about grace
My soul cries out to You (3x)
Oh— grace
My soul cries out to You (3x)
Oh— grace
